Thank you for joining us as a member of the Lake Murray Tennis Club (LMTC). Your membership is annual and expires 12/31 each year. A courtesy invoice will be mailed by Dec 1. Late fees apply after Jan. 15. Renewal memberships are not prorated. Your application fee is a one time fee unless your membership lapses in payment after 24 months. Court Reservations Court times may be reserved up to four days in advance, after 12 noon. Singles reservations are for 1 hour. Doubles reservations are for 1 ½ hrs. For example, to ensure a court reservation for Friday, call the club at noon on Monday. Courts must be canceled at least 60 minutes to avoid reservation penalties. You do not need a reservation if courts are available at the time of your arrival. (619) 469-3232
Guest fees are $5.00 per person, good for all day in 1 or 1½ hr. segments, based on availability. Guest pass booklets include 10 passes at $40.00. Non-members can reserve a court, but they must pay in advance at the clubhouse. The Club Roster Handbook includes contact information for club members and is available for $1.
LMTC’s ball machine may be reserved Monday – Sunday, 11:00am – 4:00pm. Rental fees are $10 p/hr or 10 coupons for $75 for members and $20 p/hr for non-members. If courts are available during non-prime time hours, exceptions may be accommodated.
The clubhouse offers additional services including the latest racquets, racquet restringing, demo racquets, and many tennis accessories.
Competitive and social leagues, match requests, and periodic social events are advertised on the clubhouse bulletin board. Private and group lessons, clinics, and junior camps are maintained by each Tennis Pro. Coach contact information is available from the staff at the clubhouse. Occasionally, all courts may be reserved to accommodate tournament matches.
1. Each player must “sign in” at the clubhouse using their membership number prior to play.
2. Non-members must pay $5.00 at the time of sign-in or show their fee receipt if paid earlier.
3. Tennis instruction for a fee is permitted only by the designated club professionals.
4. Proper attire must be worn while playing tennis. Shirts must be worn at all times.
5. Only tennis court shoes with non-marking soles are permitted on the courts.
6. Non-playing children, pets, skateboards, skates, bicycles, radios, food, and beverages, except for water, are prohibited.
7. Loud talking is discouraged at all times so as not to disturb players on adjacent courts.
8. Foul and abusive language is prohibited. Members will receive formal warnings with possible membership suspension.
